Our team provides consultancy services and is credited with saving numerous pools under threat of closure. Yet another ongoing lifeguard training and competency session completed at Gateshead Leisure Centre which is one centre for which we provide regular staff training.

In order to work on the pool, lifeguards do two hours training each month, covering facility operations, CPR, first aid skills, pool rescues and spinal injury work.

We provide training for several pools and quite a few swim schools and swimming clubs as well as schools, universities and colleges. If your organisation requires training for your staff teams, why not get in touch and see if we can help?!

Yesterday we were down in Knaresborough at one of the oldest public swimming pools in England. Opened to the public in 1870, Starbeck Baths is a much loved facility and has been in continuous use since opening; currently operated and looked after by North Yorkshire Council.

A unique setting to do a probationary TA course moderation and see another group of new lifeguards pass their NPLQ.

Well done to Alana who was the probationary trainer and thanks to Graeme for making the journey down.

EXCITING NEWS - - - NEW VENUE!

We are delighted to announce that we have secured yet another venue;

Seaton Valley High School, Whitley Bay, North Tyneside

The venue has a 25m deck level swimming pool with fitness studio and excellent training facilities - and only opened in 2025. It is the perfect place to run Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher courses and we will be doing our first NPLQ there starting on 16th August, with numerous courses booked in for 2027.
