July raises awareness of Sarcoma.

Sarcoma is a type of cancer that can appear anywhere in the body. Every day, 16 people are diagnosed with sarcoma in the UK. That’s about 5,900 people a year.

Remember to keep pushing the message "Be The Early Bird", encouraging patients to seek early advice from their GP on any changes or concerns.

Ticks are small, spider-like creatures. They feed on the blood of birds and mammals, including humans.

Ticks vary in size and are usually between 1mm to 1cm long. They have either 6 or 8 legs.

✅Protect yourself by: Wearing long sleeves and trousers when walking through long grasses and woodlands.Using an insect repellentChecking your body, clothing, and pets for ticks after being outdoors.Removing ticks as soon as possible with a tick removal tool.

If you develop a spreading rash, flu-like symptoms, or feel unwell after a tick bite seek medical advice.
