We have moved our Resident and Relatives notice board into the main reception area, which makes it much more accessible for everyone to keep up to date with important information and what is happening at Charters Court.

Residents and staff put their thinking caps on as they worked together to solve a true or false general knowledge quiz. Everyone joined in sharing ideas, helping each other and celebrating each correct answer. It was wonderful to see such great teamwork, with friendly competition adding to the fun.

Activities like this help keep our minds active and it was clear everyone thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!

The residents on our Maple suite spent the morning planting the pots and planters that will be on display in their patio area. These will provide a riot of colour for everyone to enjoy when sitting outside or at the dining table.

It was such a lovely way to spend the morning, enjoying each others company with a good conversation and a cup of tea! 🌼🌷💐

Once again our Chef Biju made a delicious cake for our wonderful resident Norma's birthday. Norma celebrated with her friends and family and had a great day in the sunshine.

Everyone at Charters Court wishes Norma many happy returns and hopes her day was as fabulous as she is!! 🎂🎈🎉🎁🫅

We will be holding our Lost and Found event from 2.30pm tomorrow (Friday 29th May) in the Hair Salon where we will be displaying items currently held in lost property.

This will provide an opportunity to look through clothing or personal items that may belong to your family member and claim any missing belongings. The lost property items will remain in the salon until Monday 1st June to allow additional time for viewing.

We encourage families to take a look, as we hope to reunite residents with any missing items wherever possible.

Our talented residents enjoyed a wonderful art session expressing themselves through colour, and creativity. Everyone can showcase their artistic talents and have fun together.

Art activities are such a fantastic way to encourage self-expression and promote relaxion and wellbeing. Most importantly they bring smiles and a great sense of achievement.

We are so proud of our residents and the beautiful artwork they created!

As always, our residents enjoyed lots of musical fun and games with Kiddleydivey Horsham, Crawley & Mid Sussex - Adults

Linley uses carefully selected pieces of music to stimulate memories and minds. The use of sensory props creates a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for everyone. There was lots of enthusiastic singing and many laughs during the fun session!

The carers on Aspen suite set up the dining tables on the patio and the residents thoroughly enjoyed an alfresco lunch in the shade. Such a lovely way to spend time enjoying the fabulous weather and each others company! 🌞🌞🌞

We celebrated our music loving resident Brian’s birthday with a delicious homemade cake decorated with fresh fruit and cream.

Brain shared the cake with fellow residents and staff and spent the afternoon with his family.

Many happy returns Brian we hope you had a wonderful day – heres to many more!
