Our Cheese and Wine Tasting Afternoon was a huge success. Residents and staff came together to enjoy a delicious selection of cheeses from around the world, a huge range of tasty crackers, together with a selection of red, white and rose wines.

There were fun facts about cheese and the room was filled with conversation about everyone's favourite food and drink. It really was the perfect way to spend an afternoon, creating memories and enjoying life's simple pleasures!

Residents and staff came together here at Charters Court to wish Diana a very happy 99th Birthday! 🎉🎂

Lots of fun and games took place on our Aspen suite this morning with a fantastic game of blow up football and catch. After the England win last night everyone was in great spirits and the room was filled with laughter, energy and there were smiles all round! ⚽😀

We love these photos of our fabulous resident Pat helping peel the potatoes for lunch! Pat enjoys helping our staff with everyday tasks which include setting the table and watering the pots on the patio.

Helping with household activities provides opportunities for residents to remain engaged and active and promotes a sense of accomplishment and self-worth. It can help them feel more in control of their surroundings and provide a sense of familiarity that can be very comforting.

These fun photos of our wonderful resident Elizabeth were taken at the beginning of last week during a trip to Haskins Garden Centre Snowhill before the hot weather. Fun loving Elizabeth is proof that aged 104 you are never to old to enjoy a joke.

We bet she now wishes the glasses were filled with a cold drink, together with some ice and a slice to help her keep cool! 🥵🍹😂

Today we were delighted to celebrate Shirley's 93rd birthday and what a wonderful occasion it was. Everyone joined together to help make her day extra special, filled with smiles, laughter and lots of birthday wishes.

Paola's art class was a roaring success this week. Our arty residents painted some fantastic beach scenes on canvas in this weeks masterclass.

It was wonderful to see the creativity and enthusiasm from everyone, the results are amazing!! 🖌 🎨😀

As always there were plenty of smiles and lots of laughter at Anna’s I AM Dance Fit Zumba session. Everyone loved moving and grooving to the music!

The sessions are great way to get everyone feeling energised, while still enjoying the benefits of being part of a shared group experience. 🕺💃
