🌿 My Daily Self-Care Protocol for Busy Mums 🌿
I would love to share my personal routine with my lovely clients and with every woman who cares about her body, mind and soul. 🤍
As a busy mum with responsibilities, work and everyday pressure, I’ve learned that taking care of myself is not a luxury — it is something I need in order to continue giving my best to my children, my family, my clients and myself.
🌅 1. Wake up before everyone else
If your circumstances allow, try to wake up a little earlier — around 5 or 6 a.m., or whatever time suits your body and your lifestyle.
Give yourself a few quiet moments before the day begins.
Take some deep breaths and, if possible, go for an early morning walk. Fresh air, natural light and quiet time can help you feel more present and ready for the day.
🧘♀️ 2. Reset your mind
Take a shower, meditate, breathe deeply, or spend a few minutes journaling.
Write down what you are feeling. Ask yourself:
“What am I carrying today?”
“Where is the gap in my life that needs my attention?”
Sometimes simply recognising what we are feeling is the first step towards taking better care of ourselves.
🎯 3. Set your intention for the day
Choose your priorities and identify the one main goal you want to accomplish that day.
When your priorities are clear, it becomes easier to stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed by everything happening around you.
🌙 4. Close the day gently
At the end of the day, if you have the time, take a relaxing shower or bath. You can add bath salts if you enjoy them.
Make yourself a warm cup of tea — perhaps ginger, turmeric, or simply your favourite herbal tea. Choose something that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Take a few slow breaths and allow your body and mind to transition from a busy day into rest.
🤍 5. Gratitude & reconnecting with yourself
Before you sleep, take a moment to say Alhamdulillah and be grateful for what you have experienced that day.
Then remind yourself of your monthly goal and the woman you are working towards becoming.
Remember:
You cannot pour from an empty cup.
Taking care of yourself does not mean neglecting your responsibilities. It means giving your body, mind and soul the care they need so you can continue showing up with more balance, energy and presence. 🌿🤍
This is my personal routine — take what feels right for you and adapt it to your own life, body and circumstances.
With love,
