We had a fantastic time at our Summer Fete last Saturday, bringing together our residents, families, friends, and the local community. 💕🌸

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and lovely moments shared together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special! 🥰

A lovely day of creativity, movement, and cuddles at Abbey Lodge Care Home! ❤️🐾🎨

Our residents in the dementia unit enjoyed some relaxing aqua painting, followed by gentle exercises to keep everyone moving and engaged. We were also delighted to welcome Lily, our wonderful therapy dog, who brought plenty of smiles, cuddles, and joy!

A lovely day out in the community for our residents at Abbey Lodge Care Home!

One of our residents enjoyed a stroll through the community park, where we met the lovely Willow the dog. Meanwhile, another resident enjoyed a spot of shopping before heading out for a well-deserved coffee and cake!

It’s wonderful to see our residents enjoying the local community, making memories and enjoying the simple pleasures of a day out.

🌳❤️ Enjoying Our Local Community ❤️🌳

Our resident had a wonderful time visiting the park just across the road from the care home, making the most of the fresh air and beautiful surroundings.

We spent time feeding the birds, chatting with friendly passers-by, and meeting some lovely dogs along the way. 🐦🐕😊

These simple outings are a fantastic way to stay connected with the local community, enjoy nature, and create meaningful moments together. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and plenty of fresh air.

🐾❤️ Meet Our Gentle Giant, Lily! ❤️🐾

Say hello to Lily, our wonderful therapy dog! 🐶💕

Lily is a beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog with the gentlest nature, and she brings so much joy to everyone she meets. Whether she's enjoying cuddles, offering a comforting paw, or simply spending time with our residents, Lily always brightens the day with her calm and loving personality.

Animal therapy has so many wonderful benefits, from encouraging conversation and reducing anxiety to bringing smiles and creating special moments. It's easy to see why Lily is such a much-loved member of our care home family. ❤️

We think she's paws-itively amazing! 🐾

❤️ Making Memories in the Community ☕🍰

There's nothing quite like spending quality time with loved ones.

One of our wonderful residents recently enjoyed a lovely trip into the local community with his wife, where they shared a relaxing cuppa and a delicious slice of cake together. Moments like these are so important, helping to maintain cherished relationships and create lasting memories.

We also celebrated some friendly competition back at the home, congratulating our Deputy Manager, who was the winner of our World Cup Sweepstake, and one of our residents, who was our fantastic runner-up! ⚽🏆

A wonderful day filled with smiles, companionship, and community spirit.

We were delighted to welcome our residents and their families to a special Food Tasting Event at Abbey Lodge Care Home.

The afternoon was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to sample a selection of delicious dishes, share their feedback, and enjoy quality time together. From beautifully prepared meals to wonderful conversations around the table, it was a celebration of great food and great company.

A huge thank you to our talented catering team for creating such a fantastic menu and to everyone who joined us. Your feedback helps us continue to provide enjoyable, nutritious dining experiences for our residents.
