Yippeee... my beloved LymphaTouch machine is back from convalescing at its manufacturer in Finland (lucky machine getting a wee scandi holiday!). And is ready for action 😀

Negative pressure is a great way to treat the tissues and scars, encouraging that all important fluid movements, and creating stimulation. Perfect for post surgical including c sections, mastectomies, and joint replacements.

Like many people I 'attempted' to watch the eclipse yesterday. Not only because it ought to be an awesome natural phenomenon to witness, but also because it represented a milestone for me.

The last significant eclipse happened on 11th August 1999 - I remember the date clearly because it was the date I also moved to Scotland. I recall standing in my garden at home waiting for the sky to dim, and then literally grabbing my suitcase and making my way to London to catch the nightbus to Glasgow - all 27 years ago.

And gosh 27 years in a city that I now call home - a whirlwind of jobs, love, family, friends, tears, joy and a lot of laughter. It feels like both yesterday and a lifetime ago. And I never would have guessed that having just graduated with a degree in Environmental Science and German Literature (I know - crazy combo!), I would find my way eventually into massage therapy. Life sure does twist and turn.

Grab every opportunity in life, take risks, and love what you do ... :D

ps - yes that's me the year I moved to Glasgow - not changed a bit eh?
pps - I actually took that eclipse photo in 2015 when there was a less 'significant' but more photogenic eclipse!
