Welcome to my treatment space . I love coming down here on a Saturday.. it’s a really peaceful and tranquil space nestled here in East Linton - a perfect place for acupuncture. Autumnal vibes…

Can you feel the cooler and dewy mornings, the autumn breezes? Autumn is has definitely arrived and with it a subtle change in energy and flow.

Autumn is the time when the energy of our Lungs and Large Intestines are in the spotlight.. both these organs revolve around detoxification - the lungs filtering, absorbing oxygen and then exhaling and getting rid of the waste/carbon dioxide. The large intestine absorbing the last of the water from our food and getting rid of the debris (both digestive and emotional).

Lung vitality is often reflected in the quality of our breath, on our skin and probably most importantly in our immunity- it’s our Lung energy that provides a protective barrier around the skin called ‘wei qi’. If this is weak or vulnerable we are more likely to become ill with colds or flu at this time.

Yoga Den open day - Sunday 24th September - so excited to be part of this - I will be around this Sunday offering taster sessions of auricular therapy, and will be using tiny silver seeds as opposed to needles on ear points. Pop along if you fancy trying this, if you would like to find out a little more about acupuncture or if you just want to say hello!

There are lots of brilliant taster sessions going on in the Yoga Den too - yoga, qigong,kundalini and Gong, meditation, breath work a sound bath and massages too - you can book in for one these sessions here
