Something that keeps coming up in conversation recently is the topic of lack of support!
Lack of support from a partner, a work colleague, a friend, the list goes on.
Let's address this.
We all need it, even though we're incredibly strong independent women, I mean fiercely independent 💪 We all want to be supported.
It comes from needing positive reinforcement, a sounding board or just a shoulder to cry on if things get too much.
To be supportive to someone starts from within, it's not always a hug or arm around the shoulder, it could just be the person who listens, who picks up the phone to ask how someone is.
A lot of my clients are ladies who are going through the menopause or perimenopause. There is still a massive misunderstanding from Men on this subject.
We need an extra layer of support at this time of life, things change, our emotions, our hormones, our weight, and we still don't know all the many symptoms that come with going through the change. Franky chaps it's pretty horrendous for some of us.
Which is why my support will always be for my clients and friends who are facing this challenge. We can't stop it happening but we can decide how to deal with it.
So ladies are you in Menopause, in perimenopause, dreading it, out the other side, (I'm seeing the light myself now, that green lush field with flowers and bunnies and no hot sweats) Where are you right now?
