Some pieces are more than jewellery—they are a lasting connection to someone deeply loved. ❤️✨

This ashes into glass ring was lovingly created for one of our clients, transforming treasured ashes into a beautiful keepsake they can wear every day.

For many, memorial jewellery provides comfort during grief, offering a gentle reminder that the people we love are always close to our hearts. It becomes a meaningful way to carry their memory through life's everyday moments.
We're honoured to create pieces that hold so much love and meaning. ✨

Today, 3rd July, we mark Bereaved Parents Day. A day to pause and reflect on the lives of the children who are deeply loved and forever missed, and to recognise the parents and families who carry that loss.

For bereaved parents, grief does not follow a timeline, and remembering their children is an important part of their lives and identities as parents. Today provides an opportunity to acknowledge their experiences, speak their children's names, and ensure that they know they are not alone.

It is also a reminder of the importance of supporting those around us. A message, a conversation, an act of kindness, or simply being willing to listen can mean more than we realise.

On Bereaved Parents Day, we remember, we reflect, and we stand alongside bereaved parents and families with compassion, understanding and support.🤍

Posted with permission from the family. Last week we had the privilege of supporting a family in creating a funeral service that truly reflected the life and personality of their loved one, a person who had a deep love of nature. The family chose this beautiful coffin design a fitting tribute to someone whose connection with nature meant so much to them. Flowers beautifully crafted by one of the daughters herself another personalised aspect of the service!

When guiding families through funeral arrangements, we always encourage them to think about the things that made their loved one unique. Whether it’s a favourite hobby, passion, colour, place or theme, these personal touches can make a service even more meaningful and help celebrate a life in a way that feels authentic and individual.

Every life is different, and every farewell should be too.
A life well remembered lives on🦊🌿

This weekend Payne and Sons were incredibly proud to sponsor this year's Armed Forces Day in Eastbourne. Such an important event for our local community.

Our team for the day included our Funeral Service Operatives Karen and Joshua , Our Funeral Arranger Sienna and Our Funeral Director, Lee, a proud veteran himself, was honoured to take part in the parade alongside fellow service personnel, veterans and cadets.

A particularly special moment for Lee was the opportunity to present his late father's trophy to one of the cadet teams, continuing a family legacy of service and recognising the dedication and achievements of the next generation.

It was a privilege to be involved in a day dedicated to honouring the courage, commitment and sacrifice of our Armed Forces community, past and present.🎖️🎩
