🚴‍♂️🌟 What a wonderful day! 🌟🚴‍♂️

Mary and Anne were up bright and early this morning to secure the perfect spot for the Penny Farthing World Championships Time Trial. There was plenty of excitement as they watched the riders race against the clock. Did you know that Beachy Head is the traditional home of the Time Trial event, providing a stunning and challenging course for competitors each year? 🌊🚲

The afternoon brought another special treat as we welcomed Nando the dog and his lovely hooman family for a visit. 🐶❤️

Residents enjoyed spending time chatting, and, of course, giving Nando lots of fuss and attention. His friendly nature brought plenty of smiles and laughs to everyone he met.

🐱✨ Happy International Cat Day! 🐱✨

Today we celebrated our feline friends in style, and Catherine was certainly dressed for the occasion in a very appropriate cat-themed dress! 😸

Did you know? Cats have a unique way of communicating with humans and often use a special "meow" primarily for people rather than other cats. 🐾

Our afternoon was rounded off perfectly by the fantastic Pentacle Drummers . The residents thoroughly enjoyed joining in, and we think a few of them may soon be signing up as official members! 🥁🎶

This morning our residents enjoyed a lovely trip out to Gildredge Park. The fresh air, beautiful surroundings and great company made for a fantastic afternoon. And of course, no trip out would be complete without a stop for cake! 🍰😊

This afternoon, we were also celebrating International Beer Day 🍺. Did you know that beer is one of the oldest beverages in the world, with evidence of brewing dating back over 5,000 years?

What better way to celebrate than with a fun-filled pub quiz with a chance to put our knowledge to the test!

A very special mention goes to Jean, who is celebrating her birthday today. 🎉🎂

What a wonderful day here at Beechwood Grove! 🐾🎸🌸📚

Our residents were delighted to welcome Jayne and her lovely therapy dog,
Harvey brought plenty of smiles, cuddles, and companionship, making his visit a real highlight of the day. 💙

Adding to the atmosphere, our friend Mel Hayes entertained everyone around the floors with her beautiful guitar playing. The familiar tunes had residents singing along, tapping their feet, and enjoying a wonderful morning of music. 🎶

The day then eased into a calmer pace with flower arranging and Book Club, giving residents the chance to get creative, relax, and enjoy a good book with friends. 🌷📖

We would also like to wish David a very special Beechwood Happy Birthday! 🎂🥳 We hope you had a fantastic day celebrating with everyone.
