πŸ’¦πŸ’¦The Conquest are so excited to announce the reopening of their Labour Ward room 6 water suite! The pool was condemned earlier this year and since then they have been working hard to get this room back up and running. The room has not only been fitted with a brand new birthing pool but also a fresh coat of paint and new floor. They had to keep the wonderful mural though after we heard such lovely stories of how calm it made everyone feel. If you are considering a water birth remember to mention this when you call triage or ask your midwife. They also continue to stock inflatable pools in case this room is already in use! We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their understanding while we continue to make improvements around the unit. πŸ’¦πŸ’¦
