Hot weather can affect your medicines – here’s what to do ☀️💊

Hot weather can change how well some medicines work and how your body responds to them.

Here are 3 tips to help avoid problems:

1️⃣ *Keep medicines cool…* Medicines left in the heat – in cars, bags or on sunny windowsills – might not work properly when you need them. Store them somewhere cool, dry and out of direct sunlight.

2️⃣ *Stay hydrated…* Your body loses more water when you sweat, and some medicines can make this worse. Drink plenty and listen to your body.

3️⃣ *Take extra care in the sun*… Some medicines can make your skin more likely to burn, so take extra care in the sun.
