Now that we are officially in spider season, we feel an information post directed at our Carers is called for. No, that giant (is it, though? Is it giant? Isn't it just...titchy?) sitting in the corner of lovely Mr X's kitchen is NOT going to jump on your face, block your front door exit or crawl into your sock. He - for it is, most likely, a he - is entirely harmless and merely looking for a nice lady spider to date. While searching for lurrve, he is also nature's pest control and the house would be worse without him, so please show some sympathy for his troubles 😇

During WW2, our Client and Pevensey local Paul Terry served in the King's Royal Rifle Corps, landing in Normandy on D-Day in June 1944 and taking part in the Operation Market Garden during the Battle of Arnhem in September that same year. On Thursday, he fulfilled a longstanding ambition together with two other veterans, to fly in a Spitfire for the very first time. It is quite the honour to know this true gentleman in person. Care never takes a break, not even for the air show, when our carers will be piloting their own speedy vehicles around town like a miniature fleet of Spitfires - less noisy than the planes, and with much better time keeping!

We will also be doing our bit by helping to collect donations for the Dementia Action Alliance and other local causes on the Western Lawns
