A BIG congratulations to Yodel who is now a World Champion🥇

When health issues and injuries run the risk of jeopardising your goals it can be tough to see the wood through the trees. But, with the right team around you, from vets, physios and Chiro’s finding your path out is so much clearer.

A big well done to Lesley Olden who has kept her determination throughout and got herself and Yodel to this point. Nedlo Agility

A one off face to face exercise class focusing on cardio and core for your dogs health and performance. If you’ve thought about doing our workshops but couldn’t commit this might suit you.

We will go through a warm up, cool down and everything in between to learn what exercises you can do for core and cardio! It’s me ( human and animal physio) and Jane (Orthopaedic Vet) supporting you with form, fitness and a lot of fun.

If you’re interested, email either Jane or I or send me a message on here and we will reserve your slot. There will be the option of adding another class after the 16.15 if that one becomes fully booked!
Thankyou Rebecca Reed Photography / Saffy Leyfield Photography
for the lovely photos in the poster ❤️

❤️ Draggy - he had such a fun time in clinic this week having a play with all the equipment. He has 15minute meet and greets where we he gets used to being handled and fiddled with whilst having fun. He’s perfect!! It’s a great way to desensitise your puppy to prepare them for future treatments/assessments either with physios/vets etc whilst also building important building blocks for limb awareness and strength. If you have a puppy and want to start work like this please check with a veterinary professional first ⭐️

📣 There are traffic lights on Portsmouth Road which might make your travel time slightly longer today to clinic 📣

Thankyou for stocking us up with our training treats. These treats are 99% loved by all of our patients so when we use them in sessions and owners see how much the dogs love them, they’re sold quick.
Fish tends to be more popular than chicken so we’ve got extra fish in this weeks.

We also have some fluffy rabbit ears which I can’t wait to see how the dogs react to them during the session 🐰

📣 I have a last minute clinic slot become available Friday this week at 11.15. Can be a human or canine - follow up or new patient 📣

If you’re just wanting a quick check before the weekend or you’ve been thinking about booking in but yet to do it this could be the opportunity for you!

Why Physiotherapy? How can my dog benefit?

There are lots of reasons why dogs may benefit from physio;
Video 1) Shiney working hard on his squats for his hind limb strength for agility - no injury just maintenance with the focus on performance and injury prevention
Video 2) Whisky was diagnosed with polyradiculoneuritis and has been learning how to walk again - she has been working on sitting and standing balance. Walking through cavalettis independently is a BIG step.
Video 3) Miso post her third IVDD relapse going out on her first 5minute walk and looking great.

The variety of patients mean my days are never the same, but it also means physiotherapy can help a variety of patients, both injured and non-injured.

The lovely Tallulah sadly passed over the rainbow this morning 🌈 being her physio for all these years, seeing her monthly and being a part of her management has been a pleasure. Although sad, she lived the best life and was one lucky pooch with her dedicated owners.
She LOVED her food, to the point at times she would lose her mind and we would have to have little breaks so she could concentrate again ❤️ she LOVED her ears being rubbed and would do as many cavalettis as possible to get more loving. Lots of lovely memories and one who I will remember for many years 🌈 🌈
