Last week we had some special visitors. The children loved asking them lots of questions and trying on their hats and using their torch. It’s important that the children see the Police as people who help us, so getting them in to talk to the children familiarises them with knowing they can go to them for help.

What a lovely time we had at Alston House Care Home today for a sports themed afternoon.

We wanted to take some of our school leavers over to take part in a mini sports day. It was lovely for all the residents to sit and watch. We even sat and cheered on some of the residents as they had a go with the egg and spoon race. We all chanted “don’t drop the egg” to encourage them.

The children were well looked after by the Alston house staff with lots of cold refreshments and a cake for all their efforts.

We would like to thank Eastleigh Town Council who were there to help the children with the activities and hand out medals and trophies 🏆

The children loved being cheered for and applauded for their achievements.

We are so lucky to be able to have these opportunities and share these experiences in our local community.

Come and see us at Cresfest over at Crescent Primary school and have a go on the Tombola, lots to see and do here and the sun is shining.

The butterflies are free. So sad the children missed it but I hope the videos have helped them stay included.
