Set up trim for the beautiful Sec D Maisie.
The first trim post shoes is always very conservative - allowing maximum comfort for a foot that hasn’t felt the ground for years in this case!
We like to say “take the shoes off, but leave on the socks”😁

Check out Maisie happily sporting some Cavallo boots a few days later, perfect for those initial transitional weeks🥾

Well this brightened up the end of my week - it’s lovely to hear when your horses are doing well!😊

2 lessons here…
1. Time is often the greatest healer.
2. Doing your homework (be it packing, booting, diet etc.) really does work!

But also, as I said to this lovely owner, remember the hard work you’re putting in too (especially in the depths of winter when you are soaked through and covered in mud!)
