Many people are still unaware that men can get breast cancer too, which is why raising awareness of the signs and symptoms is so important.

💙 Have you been invited for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) screening? Please don’t ignore your invitation.

AAA screening is offered to men in England during the year they turn 65. It checks for a swelling in the main blood vessel that runs from the heart through the abdomen.

An AAA often has no symptoms, so screening can find a problem before you know it’s there.

✅ Quick and painless
✅ A simple ultrasound scan
✅ Usually takes less than 10 minutes
✅ Around 1 in 70 men aged 65 screened have an AAA
✅ Finding it early means it can be monitored or treated if needed

Do you know when pain might be a symptom of a gynaecological cancer?

If you have any unexplained pain for three weeks or more, then it's important to get it checked by a doctor. It's more likely to be something less serious than cancer, but it's important to get checked, just in case.

Keeping a pain diary can help you and your doctor understand more about your pain and give you the tools you need to advocate for yourself at your appointment.

Did you know that blood cancers are among the most common types of cancer found in people aged 13-24?

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, so we’re sharing some of the symptoms young people may experience before diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a common type of blood cancer.

Common signs and symptoms include:
- Breathlessness
- Losing weight
- Feeling tired
- Feeling itchy
- High temperature
- Sweating at night
- Excessive coughing
- Pain or vomiting when drinking alcohol
