Every baby matters. Every family matters. 💙

Every day in the UK, 13 babies die shortly before, during or soon after birth, and at least 1 in 6 pregnancies end in miscarriage.

Behind every statistic is a family carrying unimaginable grief often in silence.

Sands provides support for bereaved families, works to improve bereavement care, and helps save babies’ lives through research and awareness.

No one should face pregnancy or baby loss alone. 🤍

🧠 Stroke Awareness Month

A stroke can happen to anyone, at any time — and acting FAST can save a life.

Know the signs:
⚡ **Face** – Has one side dropped? Can they smile?
⚡ **Arms** – Can they raise both arms and keep them there?
⚡ **Speech** – Is it slurred or difficult to understand?
⚡ **Time** – Call emergency services immediately. Every second counts.

Other possible signs include:
• Sudden confusion or trouble understanding
• Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
• Sudden dizziness, loss of balance, or coordination
• Severe headache with no obvious cause

🚨 What to do:
• Call emergency services right away
• Note the time symptoms started
• Keep the person safe and comfortable
• Do NOT give food or drink
• Stay with them until help arrives

Awareness saves lives — share this and help someone recognise the signs.
