Our ladies and gents had a wonderful trip to Dobbies this week to look at the plants and enjoy a nice lunch. Getting out for a few hours makes a world of difference to our residents mood and overall wellbeing 😂. Next week it’s the Owl Centre 🦉

We took some of our ladies and gents to the Five Sisters Zoo today and we had a wonderful time exploring. The animals were amazing and our residents were absolutely delighted to see them all. We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to enjoy this experience with them today 💖

We enjoyed a wonderful morning of parachute games in the hub. Working as a team to manipulate the balloons and encouraging each other to join in. It was wonderful to see 💖

Some of our ladies and gents enjoyed a beautiful lunch out at the Rowan Tree in Armadale this week. It was wonderful to get them out into the community for a chat and a nice meal 💖

Our ladies and gents enjoyed a beautiful morning with some live entertainment from Lauren Kyle. As always, she had them singing and dancing throughout the performance. Music is such a wholesome, beneficial activity that promotes social interaction, reminiscence, memory recall, brain stimulation, emotional exploration as well as physical exercise! It’s always a win at Heatherfield!
