The incredible work they do to care for, rescue and rehome dogs and cats across Edinburgh and beyond is something we’re very proud to support.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide food, care, warmth and a little bit of love to animals who need it most. ❤️

September can bring cooler mornings, darker evenings and beautiful autumn colours — but it’s also a month for new beginnings, fresh starts and taking a little time to appreciate the people around us. 🍁

💙 National Grief Awareness Day 💙

Today, on National Grief Awareness Day, we’re taking a moment to recognise the many different ways grief can affect us.

Grief doesn’t have a timeline. It doesn’t look the same for everyone, and there is no “right” way to grieve. Some days may feel manageable, while others can feel overwhelming — even long after a loved one has died.

As funeral directors, we see every day just how personal grief is. Our role doesn’t end when the funeral is over. We’re here to listen, offer support and simply be there when you need someone who understands.

Today is also a reminder to check in on someone who is grieving. A message, a cup of tea, a shared memory or simply saying “I’m thinking of you” can mean more than you realise.

🕊️ There is no time limit on love, and there is no time limit on grief.

If you’re grieving, please remember — you don’t have to face it alone.

Today, Sharon, our Funeral Service Specialist at Thomas Marin Funeral Directors, created a beautiful basket for the residents of Inchview Care Home, along with some delicious cakes for the wonderful staff. ❤️

It was our little way of saying thank you for everything you do and for the care, kindness and support you provide to the residents every day.
