"Blowing a hoolie" Scots phrase to describe a strong wind derived from "hoolan", an Orkney word for wind. They should know, I've experienced hanging iut the washing in Orkney. It's a mission! The birds at Cramond were having a tough time taking off, glad I don't need to get on my bike today!

Nocturnal lenses. Sleep in a rigid gas permeable lens perfectly fitted to your eye. Overnight the lens causes a shift in the epithelial cells of your cornea (the clear tissue at the front of your eye) creating a different profile which corrects your vision. Withing a few nights you can see without glasses or contact lenses during the day as my good friend Brodie here is enjoying for the first time! The other considerable benefit is that they offer myopia control to around the same success (60%) as other modalities such as glasses and daily, soft contact lenses. See our website for details or call to speak to one of the team.
