How we work with the three guna is how we transform our yoga practice and how we transform our lives.

Support, Direction & Space is the subtitle of Ranju’s first book Embodying the Yoga Sūtra (with Dave Charlton, 2019), and it refers to an understanding of the three guṇa. These are the qualities which make up the material world — including our minds. They are: tamas (support), rajas (direction) and sattva (space).

Join us next week to learn how to creatively apply these ideas to your practice of both āsana and prāṇāyāma!
