Our President, Professor Mark Strachan, has issued a statement expressing our sadness at the devastating flooding this week in Nepal and Tibet. Professor Strachan also pays tribute to the healthcare professionals and emergency responders working in such difficult circumstances.

Opportunity for UK Foundation Doctors

RCPE is offering two bursaries to support Foundation Doctors in years 1 and 2 to attend the Scottish Society of Physicians 68th Annual Meeting, taking place in Inverness on 17-18 September.

Each bursary is worth up to £250 per recipient, covering the registration fee and contributing towards travel and accommodation costs.

To apply, submit a statement of no more than 250 words explaining why you would like to be considered.

Application deadline: midnight on 30 August.

As our Marketing & Digital Communications Officer, you’ll plan and deliver campaigns promoting our membership, educational programmes, events and support services to audiences in the UK and around the world.

This is a varied, hands-on role spanning email marketing, web, social media and paid digital advertising, with the opportunity to take ownership of campaigns from planning through to delivery and evaluation.
