Fancy meeting our team and knitting a cosy item for vulnerable babies? 🧶
We are just one week away from our next group!

When: 26th August, 2-4pm
Where: 1 Lochside View, Edinburgh, EH12 9DH

Everyone is welcome to come along! You don't have to have any experience at all; we can learn together with our amazing pro knitters and crocheters.

If you have your own wool or tools, please bring them along, but otherwise, we can provide everything you need.

There will be refreshments available, and we’ll all be doing a little sun ☀️ dance for a sunny day to perfectly light up the beautiful view from our space!

This is a wonderful opportunity to have a chat, meet our team, and see our Baby Bank in action.

Pregnancy Counselling & Care Scotland (PCCS) is looking for an experienced Interim Head of Operations to join our respected charity and provide operational leadership across our organisation.

Based in Edinburgh, PCCS supports families and individuals across Edinburgh and the Lothians through pregnancy, loss and early parenthood.

We provide two specialist services: our Baby Bank, which provides essential items to families experiencing hardship, and our Specialist Perinatal Counselling Service, supporting people through some of the most challenging experiences in their lives.

We’re looking for an experienced leader with strong operational, financial and fundraising experience, who enjoys working collaboratively, supporting people and ensuring services run smoothly.

This is a six-month fixed-term position and an opportunity to make a genuine difference within a respected local charity.

Join our Knit & Natter group!

It's more than just a craft group, by joining us, you are knitting a safety net for vulnerable children in our community.

Every item is carefully prepared and sent to families through our Baby Bank to welcome their little ones with a cosy hug crafted by you.

Come along for great views, great chat, and the chance to learn a new skill. Bring a friend and some wool (if you have some) and we’ll provide the rest!

Our shelves are currently empty, and we have 48 families waiting on vital baby essentials. We need to restock ASAP to get these items back out the door.

We know life is busy, so we are taking the hassle out of donating: our vans can collect your donations from anywhere in the city!

We are calling on our amazing community to join us for the Kiltwalk Edinburgh 2026.

Not only is it the most affordable charity event in the UK, but it’s also Scotland’s largest organised walk, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the walkers' chosen charities.

There is a distance for everyone:
The Mighty Stride (21 miles): Starting at Holyrood Park.

The Big Stroll (11 miles): Starting at Fisherrow Links in Musselburgh.

The Wee Wander (4.5 miles): Starting at Victoria Park.

All routes finish at the mighty Murrayfield Stadium for a proper celebration of your achievement for vulnerable families! Music, dancing and hot food at the finish line.👌🏻

This Breastfeeding Week and always, we’re supporting every family on their feeding journey.

We know that breastfeeding can be a wonderful experience, but it can also come with challenges.

That’s why we’re here to help families access practical support and someone to talk to when they need it most.

The need for our services continues to grow. In just four months, we have already provided 51 pumps, putting us on track to support 40-50% more breastfeeding journeys than last year.

Every family’s journey is different, and every family deserves kindness, encouragement and access to the support they need.

Our breastfeeding support includes:

🤱 Breast Pumps: We provide electric and manual pumps to help families continue their breastfeeding journey.

🍼 Support Packs: Breastfeeding support packs filled with useful essentials to make feeding a little easier.

💛 Compassionate Counselling: We offer confidential, non-judgemental emotional support and a listening ear during what can be an overwhelming time.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our services, please get in touch with us or ask your healthcare professional to make a referral.

No matter what your feeding journey looks like, PCCS is here to support you.
