At Easter Road Podiatry we treat corns, hard skin, ingrown toenails, heel pain, arch pain, general foot pain and discomfort etc. We care for Diabetics and carry out diabetic foot screening tests. People suffering from arthritis are helped by our treatment. David uses acupuncture to help treat various aches and pains and Marty can administer steroid injection if necessary. We were the first clinic in Scotland to treat unsightly fungal nail infections using the revolutionary technology that is Lunula laser. This is a painless treatment consisting of 4 weekly treatments with a further treatments as required. Following the initial course of treatment, we will see you every couple of months for a period of up to 12 months to monitor progress. We are fantastic at permanently eradicating ingrown toenails by removing the ingrowing edge of the nail, or if necessary the whole nail. This little op is carried out painlessly under local anaesthetic. We carry out analysis of your walking (gait analysis) using the Podosmart gait analysis system, and can provide heat mouldable or, after a scan, bespoke 3D printed orthotics. These devices help relieve/ correct pain associated with flat / over pronating feet. We don't treat verruca's (warts) which are usually harmless and rarely require medical treatment, They normally disappear by themselves, fought off by your body's own immunity, in adults they can take a long, long time to go. A 'routine' consultation usually costs £49. Payment is at the time of treatment by cash or card.
