Pineal Gland // Third Eye of Horus 🧿– recent musing and illustrations from my thoughts on the Homeopathic proving of Pineal Gland – with many people in the world experiencing trauma daily. I find as a society we are always attempting to have CONTROL in a CHAOTIC world. We look to controlling the inner self…  it brings my thoughts to ‘self-soothing & trauma’… How can we unlock deep trauma for our patients to bring balance to the inner system…. Could your pineal gland be part of the picture? The pineal gland is a tiny gland sitting deep within the brain. Best known for producing melatonin, it regulates sleep cycle and our relationship with light and darkness. However the pineal has long been associated with something more mysterious — intuition, dreaming, altered states of consciousness and the “third eye.” 👁️

From the Homeopathic Proving of Pineal Gland 🧠
Rocking gently from side to side, like waves – the movement suggests rhythm, containment, and the body’s attempt to self-regulate. It evokes the rocking of sleep, infancy, and the liminal state between waking and dreaming.

Themes - Order from Chaos ⭕️
A central theme that emerges repeatedly is:
“My job or purpose in life is to bring order from chaos.”
This speaks to an inner need for control, structure, and responsibility—often felt deeply and silently. There is a sense of needing to take care of something special, something fragile or essential, coupled paradoxically with feelings of helplessness and hopelessness. This tension—between power and vulnerability—is characteristic of pineal themes.
Is this a remedy for our time?

A walk may be one of the simplest ways to change your state of mind.

Walking increases blood flow and oxygen delivery throughout the body, including the brain. It also supports neuroplasticity through factors such as BDNF, a protein involved in learning, memory, and the growth of new neural connections.

In a Stanford study, walking increased creative output by an average of 60% compared with sitting. The effect occurred whether participants walked outside or on a treadmill, suggesting that the movement itself helped unlock more divergent thinking.

You do not need a complicated routine to support your brain.

Take a walk without your phone. Let your eyes take in the distance, allow your mind to wander, and give your nervous system room to reset.
