What a lovely day out at Portobello! 🌊☀️
The forecast had us wondering if we'd need our umbrellas, but luck was definitely on our side. The rain stayed away, leaving us free to enjoy a relaxing stroll along the promenade, taking in the fresh sea air and beautiful views.
Of course, no trip to the seaside is complete without fish and chips, and they went down an absolute treat! We even had time to cool off with delicious ice creams before finishing the day with plenty of smiles and laughter in the arcade.
A fantastic day filled with fun, fresh air, great food, and wonderful memories. Days like these are what it's all about! 💙🍦🎣

Our Strawberry Summer Barbecue was a fantastic success, filled with smiles, laughter, great food and wonderful company! 🍓☀️
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. It was lovely to welcome so many residents, families, friends and staff, with our Manager, Kate, joining in the fun too.
A very special thank you goes to the amazing Danny Feelgood, who kept everyone entertained throughout the afternoon. His music, energy and sense of fun created such a wonderful atmosphere, and the day simply wouldn't have been the same without him.
Despite the weather deciding to surprise us with a little rain later in the afternoon, we still managed to enjoy some time outside and even had our barbecue cooking outdoors, which made it feel like a real summer celebration!
A big thank you to Chef Zuza and the entire kitchen team for preparing such delicious food. Everything was absolutely amazing and enjoyed by everyone.
Congratulations also to our receptionist, Catherine, who correctly guessed the number of sweets in the jar and took home the prize! 🍬🎉
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who helped, supported and joined us. Seeing so many happy faces made all the hard work worthwhile, and we're so pleased everyone had such a wonderful time. Here's to making many more special memories together! ❤️🍓

We were delighted to welcome the lovely Rose Macbeth, whose fantastic singing and entertainment brought so many smiles to our residents. Everyone had a wonderful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and great company.
To make the day even more special, we also celebrated Joan's birthday! 🎂

What a fantastic day of music and celebrations! 🎶🥳
A huge thank you to the wonderful Catherine and Moira for another fabulous afternoon of entertainment. Our residents always look forward to their visits, and they never fail to get everyone singing, smiling, and joining in. Their performances always bring so much joy to the home!
We also celebrated the birthdays of our lovely Ian and Tony. 🎂🎉 It was wonderful to see them enjoying their special day, surrounded by friends, laughter, music, and plenty of happy memories.

We were so happy to welcome the wonderful Alicia back for her monthly visit. Her beautiful ukulele playing had everyone smiling, singing along, and joining in with their instruments. Our residents always look forward to seeing her!
We also celebrated Elizabeth's birthday today. 🎂 She enjoyed a lovely visit with her family, making her special day even more memorable.

We had a wonderful time at Festival Theatre for the Capital Theatres Dementia Friendly Relaxing Rhymes session. 📚✨
The poetry reading was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone, and it was lovely to see so many smiles throughout the event.
A big thank you to Xa for such an engaging and enjoyable session. We're delighted that she'll be visiting our care home soon to lead a poetry session for our residents, and we're all looking forward to welcoming her!

🌞 We made the most of what might be the last little splash of sunshine before the rain took centre stage! 🌦️
Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the garden, soaking up the sunshine, listening to their favourite tunes, sharing plenty of laughs, and making the most of the fresh air. 🎶🌸
The weather may have decided it's time for rain, but we certainly sent the sunshine off in style! 💛 Here's to more garden days when the sun decides to make another appearance! 🌼☀️
