I've learned that recovery doesn't mean doing nothing.
And rebuilding doesn't always mean working harder or doing more.
It's about recognising when the thing you've been trying to force just isn't working and you're just stuck in the same cycle.
Pushing harder.
Taking on too much.
Running yourself into the ground.
Then trying to drag yourself back up and fix everything all at once.
Recovery is about creating enough room to understand what is actually draining you.
To stop treating exhaustion like a failure.
And to stop expecting yourself to perform as though nothing has affected you.
Resetting is about stripping things back.
Working out what matters now.
Letting go of the version of the plan you think you should be following and building something that fits the capacity you actually have.
Then you rebuild.
Not from scratch.
Not by becoming a completely different person.
But by rebuilding structure, momentum and trust in yourself one manageable step at a time.
That’s what Recover, Reset, Rebuild is really about.
Learning how to move forward without destroying yourself in the process.
The Reset Protocol is the first step.
