Today is the end of an era as, after 12 years of ownership, I move on and Davidsons Chemists take over the running of Edzell Pharmacy.

Please be assured that little will change for the people of Edzell, you will still have the same amazing team working in the pharmacy to keep you all healthy and the great service that we have hopefully provided over the last 12 years will continue under Davidsons.

I would like to thank all the staff, past and present, that have worked for me in the pharmacy for their hard work and dedication, it is very much appreciated!
Also a massive thank you to the residents of Edzell for putting their trust in us to provide their pharmacy services.

Its been an absolute pleasure owning the pharmacy.

‼️MEDICINE RECALL - Ramipril 10mg capsules‼️

Batch number: GR174091
Expiry date: 10/2026


There has been reports that some boxes of Ramipril 10mg capsules manufactured by Cresent Pharma may contain blister strips of both Ramipril 5mg and 10mg capsules.

If you have received the affected batch (batch number GR174091), please check the medicine in the box is correct.
If the medicine box contains blister strips that are labelled as Ramipril 5mg capsules, contact the pharmacy for us to change this to an unaffected pack.

The batch number and expiry date information can be found on the outer packaging of box.

If you are unsure or have any questions, please pop in or contact the pharmacy.

Batch no: GR164099 Exp: 10/2026

Some cartons of Ramipril 5mg capsules, manufactured by
Crescent Pharma Limited, may contain blister strips of
Amlodipine 5mg tablets.
If you were prescribed Ramipril 5mg capsules and have
received the impacted product batch (Batch number
GR164099) please check that the carton contains the correct
medication.
If the carton contains blister strips that are labelled and contain
Amlodipine 5mg tablets, contact your pharmacy in the first
instance.

If you are unsure or have any questions, please seek advise
from your pharmacy or healthcare professionals responsible for
your care.

Good morning,
The pharmacy is open as normal today however the safety of our staff is a priority, and as some live in more rural areas, we may be operating with reduced numbers.

As always, we will provide the best service we possibly can, but please bear with us if things take a little longer.

Due to road conditions our delivery service will be restricted. We will endeavour to get all essential prescriptions delivered but it may be some areas are inaccessible due to the snow.
