Our residents had a lovely time getting their hands dirty during our gardening session at Birdscroft Nursing Home! 🌼🌷

Together, we planted a variety of beautiful flowers that will brighten up our outdoor spaces in the weeks ahead. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the fresh air, sharing gardening tips, and taking pride in creating something special for the home.

A fantastic time filled with smiles, teamwork, and plenty of colourful blooms. We look forward to watching our flowers grow and flourish! 🌸🌿

A few days ago here at Seaview as part of our monthly cuisine travels we decided to visit Spain 🇪🇸 we had a delicious lunch including paella, Spanish tortillas and Seville orange marmalade pudding and enjoyed traditional Spanish music 🎶 we also discussed our past travels to Spain (which many of our residents have been to) and then we sat together and watched a traditional Spanish bull fight with a glass of sangria 🍷 it was a particularly rainy and grey gloomy day this Tuesday and this event really brightened the place up and what could of been a gloomy Tuesday ended up being a whole lot of fun with great food,drink,music and lots of smiling faces and conversation!

Food Tasting Day at Dene Care Home 🍽️
Residents enjoyed a lovely Food Tasting Day at Dene Care Home , sampling three new dishes—Hunter’s Chicken, steak and kidney pie, and jam roly poly. Everyone had the chance to rate each meal, helping us decide what to add to the menu.
It was a great success, with lots of smiles and feedback. We’re excited to include the residents’ favourites in future menus!
