Back in May, six talented chefs competed in pairs, creating exceptional three-course menus for our judges. The standard was outstanding, making the competition tougher than ever.

At the Leaders in Care Conference 2026, Cinnamon brand ambassador Louis Alexander, 26, takes a captivated audience on a journey which began at the age of 19 and was inspired by his Grandadโ€™s battle with dementia.
With an aim to raise over ยฃ1 million for dementia by the age of 30, Guinness World Record holder, Louis shared stories of his adventures from the Arctic to the Antarctic, and jungles, deserts and seas all in the name of dementia research.
His next challenge, and most perilous to date - a world-first attempt to kayak seven of the deadliest ocean crossings on the planet, each notorious for violent currents and extreme weather.

The pioneering initiative contributes anonymised care data for improved infection prevention, supporting earlier intervention and more joined-up care.

And for the fourth and final instalment of the ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐–๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐ž series, we headed off to Sutton Park Grange Care Home in Sutton Coldfield for another delicious three-course lunch.
And it certainly caught the eyes of our resident judges, from Eastcote Park, Parkfield Grange, Sutton Park Grange and The Gables. After scoring a solid 23 points, it wasnโ€™t enough, however, to beat the lead meaning The Gables in Hagley remained in first place with an impressive 26 out of 30 points.
Residents Brian and Gigi proudly accepted the commemorative Come Dine With Me plate on behalf of The Gables and Head Chef Dwight.
In our eyes all the homes were winners! And what won our hearts most was the newfound friendships that blossomed over the dining experience. Such a joy!!! Well done to everyone for bringing the series to life.

It was time for Parkfield Grange Care Home, Head Chef Dan and the hospitality team to impress the panel of judges in part 3 of the Come Dine With Me ๐Ÿท series.
And what a performance it was that greeted the guests, with a wonderful saxophone solo by saxophonist, SantaSax and canapes to whet the appetite, before they headed to the private dining for a special three-course lunch.
The scores were in, following the meal, with Parkfield Grange picking up 22 out of 30 points.
That means The Gables Care Home remains in the lead as the competition heats up (and so does the weatherโ˜€๏ธ), putting them in the grand finale with Sutton Park Grange Care Home.
One more meal, one more score on the door! Who will be crowned this yearโ€™s Come Dine With Me Champions? โ€ฆ..

Hosted by residents Brian and Gigi, it was lovely to see conversation bubble at the dining table between newfound friends, with Head Chef Dwight Clayton and his team bringing the menu to life. As described by resident Sue from Parkfield Grange, โ€œIt is a very exciting and inviting menu!โ€

๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ Ladies and gentlemen, lunch is served at Eastcote Park Retirement Village & Care Home, hosted by residents Marian and Marie, and prepared by Head Chef Nigel Cooke!
With the first round in the ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ƒ๐ข๐ง๐ž ๐–๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐ž series complete, our resident judges got together to do the scoring. There was plenty of conversation and laughs at the dining table before the serious business began.
And with a possible 30 points up for grabs, Eastcote Park earned an impressive 23 points! ๐Ÿ‘
On Thursday, the competition moves to the next home to host lunch, The Gables Care Home in Hagley. Stay tuned to see what they have in store for us ๐ŸŽฌ.
