✨Introducing Amy, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, offering sessions in our Forres clinic.

Amy has been working in Moray as a hypnotherapist for almost 4 years. Before training to become a hypnotherapist she spent over a decade working in academic skills support in higher education. She saw first-hand how changes in circumstances and the pressures of life can affect our confidence, wellbeing and trust in our ability to cope.

She now works primarily with people who may be feeling anxious, lacking in confidence, stuck in an unwanted habit, , struggling with a fear or phobia, or experiencing IBS. Sessions combine relaxed conversation, where you explore what you’d like to change and the strengths and resources you already have, with gentle hypnosis using progressive muscle relaxation and guided visualisation.

Amy's aim is to provide a calm, friendly space where you can take some time for yourself and work towards feeling better and more like yourself again.

🌟 Our Amazing Susan!! 🌟

⭐ Career Spotlight: Susan Greig

Meet Susan Greig, a former Lhanbryde Primary and Milne’s High School pupil who has built a varied, skill‑rich and people‑focused career that has led her to her current role as Practice Manager at Moray Osteopaths.

Susan’s favourite subjects at school were Biology and Secretarial Studies, two areas that, without her realising at the time, would later become the perfect blend of skills for the work she does today. Her career path has been anything but linear, and that’s exactly what makes her story so inspiring.

She began her working life as a Retail Assistant, before moving into a chemist where she worked as a dispensing assistant and developed photographs. A trainee post at The Moray Council then unexpectedly led her into lithographic print machine operation, printing leaflets, stationery and books — a role that even took her to London for six months.

When London didn’t work out, Susan returned home and took on two jobs: Admin Support/Customer Services at Decora and a role at The Sunninghill Hotel. Both helped her build the organisational, communication and customer‑care skills she uses every day.

At 32, Susan decided she wanted a “proper career” and returned to study at Moray College, qualifying three years later, while pregnant with her first child, with an HNC in Beauty Therapy. She worked in a salon, then ran her own business specialising in massage treatments, before eventually moving into her current role. Today, she combines her hands‑on knowledge of massage with her admin expertise, giving her the best of both worlds.

Her most memorable career moments include working in London and running her own business, both of which shaped her confidence, resilience and skillset.

💬 Best career advice she’s ever received
“Anything is possible. Qualifications are important, but they don’t have to define your career. You gain skills through every job, and you can study or retrain at any time to reshape your path. Nothing is ever final.”

Susan’s story is a brilliant reminder that careers can twist, turn and evolve, and that every experience, every job and every skill can help build a future that feels right for you.
