It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Fidgett, who passed away on Saturday 6th June surrounded by his family.

Born on 30th August 1979, in Romford, Essex Paul was a beloved son, brother and uncle. Paul is lovingly remembered by his parents Peter and Johanna, siblings Amy-Clare and James, and his nephews Samuel and Morgan. His joyful energy and caring sprit touched everyone who lived and worked with him.

All friends are invited to a celebration of his life on Friday 26th June which will be held at 1.30pm in St James’ Church, Lossiemouth, with refreshments afterwards in The Golf View.

Family flowers only, donations may be made to Outfit Moray in Paul's name.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian, who died peacefully, after a short illness on the 3rd June, 2026, at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin. Beloved son of Jean and the late Sandy, much loved brother of John, Duncan and the late Alec, step brother of Henry, dear uncle of George, Amanda and Ann Marie and a great uncle to their children. A great friend to many, Brian was deeply loved and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His kindness, warmth and the memories he shared with family, friends and devoted care staff will remain in our hearts always. His life was greatly enriched by the high standard of care he received.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, 23rd June, at 1p.m., at Steven Thomson and Son Funeral Home, 37 Clifton Road Lossiemouth, followed by a private cremation at a later date.

A fly cup will be served at The Golf View Hotel Lossiemouth, after the service.

No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be made to Real Life Options and Greyfriars Club.

Please wear no dark colours, come in comfy casual clothes with colour to reflect on Brian’s personality.

Susan, Wendy, and Michael wish to express their sincere appreciation to everyone for all the kind messages, cards and flowers offering sympathy and support following the sad loss of their dad, Charley. Heartfelt thanks to Steven Thomson for his caring and impeccable handling of arrangements throughout and to celebrant Wendy Toner for her wonderful words during the ceremony. Special thanks to Elizabeth at Harbour Blooms for the beautiful flowers and to Tracey at Lossie FC Social Club for laying on the lovely teas. Thanks also to Jess and her team for their dedicated care and support over the past few years and to district nurse, Gemma and the out-of-hours nurses for their care and compassion during Charley's final days. Finally, thank you to all who came to pay their final respects to Charley at the chapel and graveside, and for the donations to Logan's Fund and Abbie's Sparkle Foundation.
