❌ Whitby Health Partnership rejects this proposal
We were not consulted, nor were other stakeholders. We have formally raised our concerns with the Trust and made clear our strong dissatisfaction.
These charges risk:

Deterring patients from attending appointments
Negatively affecting patient care
Increasing parking pressure on local residential streets

🚨 Proposed Parking Charges – Have Your Say 🚨
Charges proposed:
• First 30 minutes: FREE
• Up to 4 hours: £3.65
• Up to 6 hours: £5.70
• Up to 24 hours: £7.80

✊ Patient Action - Please like and share as much as possible
Local patient groups are now campaigning against the proposal through petitions, flyers and contacting key decision-makers.
This impacts not just GP services, but the Hospital, Pharmacy, PCN services, Research Centre, Sexual Health Services and more — as well as staff who may have to pay to park.

📝 Sign the Petition
Support the campaign to stop the charges:

CARERS WEEK 8th - 14th June 2026 💙💙💙💙💙

👉 Are you a carer?
You might not think of yourself as one, but a carer is anyone who looks after a family member, partner or friend who needs help due to illness, disability, mental health or age-related needs – and this support is unpaid.
At Whitby Health Partnership, we want to make sure all our carers are identified so we can offer the right support, information and services.
✅ Please let us know if you:
• Care for someone
• Have caring responsibilities (even if it doesn’t feel like a “formal” role)
• Or if someone relies on you for help at home
By identifying yourself as a carer, we can help ensure you receive the support you may be entitled to.
Our carer lead at the surgery is Chrissie and she is more than happy to speak with you at any time should you require any information.
📞 Get in touch with reception or speak to a member of the team to let us know.
💙 Thank you to all our carers – we see you, we value you, and we’re here to support you. 💙

Register your interest! 🎪

We’re planning a community event at Whitby Park on 30th July and we’re looking for local organisations, groups, and services to register their interest in having a stall 🎉

This will be an activity-focused event, so all stallholders must be able to provide some kind of interactive activity for attendees to get involved in - whether that’s games, sports, crafts, wellbeing activities, demonstrations, or something creative for families and the community.

If your organisation would like to be involved, please email:
[email protected]

⭐All organisations that have joined us in the past, we’ll be in touch soon to see if you’d like to join us again.
❌ No sellers or retail stalls

We’d love to bring together as many local organisations as possible for a fun and engaging day for the community 💚
