๐ง ๐ญ When your ADHD brain feels like it has 100 tabs open at onceโฆ
For someone with ADHD, the mind can sometimes feel incredibly busy. Thoughts can arrive all at once, ideas can bounce from one thing to another, and even the simplest task can feel overwhelming.
It can be difficult to explain what is happening inside your head when there are so many thoughts, feelings, sounds, ideas and distractions competing for your attention.
ADHD isn't simply about being unable to concentrate. It can affect emotions, organisation, motivation, memory, relationships, confidence and everyday life too.
And sometimes, the constant effort of trying to keep up can leave you feeling exhausted.
๐ญ "Why can't I just get things done?"
๐ญ "Why did I forget that again?"
๐ญ "Why can't I switch my brain off?"
๐ญ "Why does everything feel so overwhelming?"
If these thoughts sound familiar, you're not alone.
At Cambridgeshire Expressive Arts and Counselling Centre C.I.C., we offer a safe, understanding space where you can explore your experiences without judgement.
Through counselling and expressive approaches, you can begin to make sense of your thoughts and emotions, develop greater self-understanding and explore ways of managing the challenges that ADHD can bring.
๐ฟ You don't need to quiet every thought. Sometimes you just need a safe place to untangle them.
Your brain isn't "too much."
You aren't lazy.
You aren't failing.
You deserve understanding, support and a space where you can be yourself. โค๏ธ
