A lovely birthday celebration at Murrayfield Care Home ! 🎂🎉 Our wonderful resident was so happy to celebrate with everyone, and it was lovely seeing our residents and team come together to sing Happy Birthday.

There was plenty of excitement as we marked her special day with cake, smiles and lots of birthday wishes 💜

We had such a lovely time at our Summer End Party with our residents, families and team all coming together 💜

There was music playing, plenty of dancing and lots of lovely food shared throughout the day. It was one of those afternoons where everyone just got stuck in and enjoyed being together, with laughter carrying on from one table to the next 🎶

We also had a very exciting raffle draw to round things off, which added a bit of fun and anticipation before we wrapped up a really special celebration 😊

Recently at Murrayfield Care Home , we took some time to learn more about different cultures and celebrate them together 🌍💜

Our wonderful residents enjoyed exploring different music, colourful outfits and traditions, and of course, there was some dancing too! It was a lovely opportunity to share stories, discover something new and enjoy learning about cultures from around the world 🎶🌎

As summer comes to an end, we’re looking back at some of our August highlights across Gold Care Homes ☀️💜

With plenty of summer sunshine, our homes found ways to enjoy the summer while keeping cool, with ice creams and ice cream van visits proving particularly popular! 🍦

We also put the kettle on for Afternoon Tea Week, enjoyed some well-earned downtime for National Relaxation Day and made the most of the Summer Bank Holiday.

Our garden at Murrayfield Care Home is starting to look rather lovely! 🌱🌸

A huge thank you to the wonderful Meridian Community Garden for helping us transform and organise the space. From planting flowers and vegetables to spending time with our amazing residents, your time and enthusiasm have made such a difference.

Our residents have really enjoyed getting involved, being outdoors and keeping an eye on everything as it grows. We cannot wait to see what the garden looks like as the season goes on 🌻🥕💜

July saw us celebrating a few of our favourite dates in the calendar, alongside all the everyday moments that make each month special 💜

We marked World Chocolate Day with a few well deserved treats, celebrated National Ice Cream Day with everyone's favourite flavours, and during , we took the opportunity to recognise our wonderful teams who make such a difference every day 🍦🍫

Alongside the celebrations, there were all the little moments that make each month what it is, catching up with friends, enjoying favourite activities and making the most of the summer days.

What better way to celebrate World Ice Cream Day than with a visit from the ice cream van at Murrayfield Care Home ? 🍦💜

Our lovely residents had a wonderful time choosing their favourite ice creams, with plenty of excitement as the van arrived.

It's amazing how something so simple can bring everyone together for a lovely afternoon and leave so many smiling faces 😊

🌈 We had a wonderful time celebrating Pride at Murrayfield Care Home !

Our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely day outdoors with a delicious BBQ, music, plenty of chats and lots of happy moments shared together. It was great to see everyone enjoying the sunshine, taking photos and making memories with friends and the team. 💜

A lovely celebration of being ourselves, showing kindness and celebrating what makes everyone unique. 🌈

June brought plenty of reasons to celebrate across our homes, with lots of special moments shared together along the way 💜

We marked Care Home Open Week by welcoming visitors into our homes, celebrated Pride Month with colourful activities and conversations, and enjoyed making Father's Day a memorable one for the wonderful father figures in our community 🌈

There was also time for some light hearted fun as we tucked into National Fish and Chips Day, got creative for National Cheese Day, and found lots of other reasons to smile throughout the month 🧀🐟

We have been celebrating Gardening Week here at Murrayfield Care Home with a lovely visit to our local community garden, and it was such a refreshing trip for everyone 💜

Our wonderful residents really enjoyed walking around, taking in all the greenery and seeing what was growing. There was plenty of interest as we picked some fresh vegetables together, already imagining them being turned into something delicious for our next meal 🌱🥕

It is always special seeing produce so fresh and full of life, and it sparked lots of chat about gardens from years gone by and favourite things to grow at home. Simple moments like this really do bring people together 💜
