Day 228
As digital formats continue to increase, we need to be mindful that they don’t always work for everyone. Accessibility must be considered at every single stage..from design and build right through to delivery and use. One size never fits all; different people have different needs, so offering alternative formats and options is essential to ensure everyone can access, engage, and participate equally.
One key area where this matters greatly is applications and forms. Whether it’s for jobs, bookings, registrations or enquiries- if a form isn’t accessible or only exists in one format, it creates a barrier that stops people from taking part. Designing them with accessibility in mind, and providing different ways to complete or submit them, means no one is left behind.
