Having an accessible toilet is brilliant. Actually, it's amazing.
But not if it's locked.
And not if the person holding the key isn't available.
If someone needs to use the facility, they shouldn't have to hunt for a member of staff, wait around, or be told to come back later.
If your accessible toilet is locked, clearly display who holds the key and a contact number so it can be accessed when needed.
Because a facility that exists but cannot be accessed isn't accessible.
Access isn't about having the facility. It's about being able to use it.
