Family Acknowledgement- John Desmond (Desi) Smyth.

The family of the late John Desmond (Desi) Smyth would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to thank all who attended the wake at Ballycassidy Funeral Home and the funeral service in Cleenish Parish Church, Bellanaleck.
We are also grateful to our neighbours and friends who offered their condolences, and to those who sent messages of sympathy via social media. Your kindness and thoughtfulness brought us great comfort during this sad and difficult time.

Sincere thanks to everyone who sent sympathy cards, telephoned the family, and kindly donated to Cleenish Parish Church funds in memory of our father.

We extend our grateful thanks to Canon Jen McWhirter for conducting the funeral service, for her pastoral care of our father both at home and in hospital, and for the support she provided to the entire family throughout his illness and since his passing.
We would also like to thank Saddlers for providing refreshments following the wake.

A special word of thanks is extended to the staff of the Cardiac Unit and Wards 2 and 8 at South West Acute Hospital for the compassion and care shown to our father during his illness. We are also deeply grateful to the Community Respiratory Team for their support and care of both our father and the family over many months, and to the Community Nursing Team for their regular attendance and care at his home. Our sincere thanks also go to Drs Toal and Maguire and their team for the care they provided to our father over the years.

We would like to thank the grave diggers for preparing the grave, Mrs Joan Brownlee for playing the organ, and the members of the church who assisted with the service.

Our sincere thanks are extended to Mr Keith Elliott of W.T. Morrison Funeral Directors and all his staff for their exceptional support, guidance, and the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. We are extremely grateful for the compassion and care they showed our family at this very sad time.

As we continue to grieve the loss of both our parents, we appreciate that we may inadvertently have omitted to thank everyone who supported us over the past three months, and we ask for your understanding.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Family acknowledgement

The family of the late Florence Walker wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to all who sent sympathy cards, brought food, made telephone calls, and shared messages of support, both personally and through social media.
Thank you to everyone who met us at the funeral home and to all who attended the funeral service. Your kind words, presence, and donations were truly appreciated and meant a great deal to our family.
We wish to extend our gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Irvinestown Health Service, the Hospital at Home team, and the consultants and nurses of Ward 6 at SWAH, who cared for Mum with compassion and professionalism throughout her illness.
Our heartfelt and lasting thanks go to Mum’s wonderful carers, who treated her like family and consistently went above and beyond in the care they provided.
We are also very thankful to Mum’s kind neighbours and friends, the church pastoral visitors, and the staff of the Friendship Hub, all of whom were so faithful in their visits and support while Mum was at home and during her time in hospital.
A special word of thanks to Rev. John Beacom for conducting the funeral service and for his pastoral care, friendship, and support throughout his ministry at Ballinamallard Methodist Church. We also thank Hazel Darragh, organist, the ladies of the Methodist Church for providing the funeral tea, Doris Byers, and Mallard Bakes. Our thanks also extend to the gentlemen of Ballinamallard Methodist Church for their assistance with parking, seating, and livestreaming the service.
We sincerely thank Keith Elliott and the team at WT Morrison Funeral Services for their professionalism, care, and support with all funeral arrangements, as well as the grave diggers for their work.
We take great comfort from the kindness and support shown to us all. It was deeply touching to see the special place Mum held in so many hearts, and humbling to witness so many people and businesses stopping to pay their respects as her cortege passed.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere and lasting appreciation.
