Sophia graduated from University of Bristol in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Audio

logy. She has over 11 years experience in the NHS, treating both adults and children in hospital and home environments. Her areas of particular interest are in Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities and looking into current research to support her clients individual needs. Sophia is registered with RCCP and HCPC and is a member of BAA and BSHAA. M H Hearingcare provides the following services: wax removal, adult hearing assessments (screening and full assessments), full paediatric assessments, adult hearing aid fittings (care package with on-going management and maintenance), paediatric hearing aid fittings (care package with on-going management and maintenance), ear protection (custom swim and shower earplugs, custom ear defenders). Concerts & Festivals
Use custom ear protection to reduce harmful noise while keeping music clear and enjoyable.

Consider in-ear monitors if performing-they lower stage volume without compromising sound quality.

Headphones & Earbuds 🎧
Follow the 60/60 rule: listen at no more than 60% volume for up to 60 minutes at a time.

Take regular breaks to give your ears a rest.

Home & Studio Audio
Keep overall volume at a moderate level.

Position speakers at a safe distance, and avoid prolonged exposure to high volumes.

Why it matters: Hearing loss is permanent, but preventable. Taking small steps now ensures you can enjoy music for a lifetime.
