Right at Home Sutton and Mid-Surrey

Right at Home Sutton and Mid-Surrey Right at Home provides quality care to elderly and disabled adults across Sutton and Mid-Surrey Our CareGivers:
Our CareGivers want more than a job.

Our Ethos:
Our Clients receive their care the way they want, at a time when they want to have it delivered. They are involved in all decision-making, including agreement of their personalised care plan. We know that emotional and moral support for our Clients and their family can be just as important as our specialist care knowledge, so it is ingrained in the support we provide and we always keep

in close contact with concerned family and friends. We also understand that good day-to-day communication is vital to give families and loved ones peace of mind, which is why all daily records and communication sheets are kept accessible in the Clients’ home and any concerns can be easily addressed through a call to the office. They want to make a difference in the lives of those in their care. To ensure only the best CareGivers join us, we have a rigorous selection process in place that includes personal interviews, competency testing, psychometric testing, reference checks and background clearance. We also ask ourselves a simple question – would I trust the CareGiver to look after my own mother in her home? We only recruit if the answer is a definite ‘YES’. Once a CareGiver meets our strict criteria, it’s just the beginning. Each goes through a training and orientation process that guides them through our Right at Home values and standards, going above and beyond the national legal requirements. They are given training on issues that help them develop as better overall CareGivers, as well as training on dealing with very specific situations they may come across in their role.

💙 This weekend, we're cheering on our amazing Carer, Megan, as she takes part in One Walk London to raise money for people living with Type 1 diabetes.

Megan is walking to support the incredible work of Breakthrough T1D, helping to fund life-changing research, support the Type 1 diabetes community, and campaign for improved access to treatments and technologies through the NHS.

We're so proud of Megan for taking on this challenge and making a difference. 💙

If you'd like to support her fundraising efforts, every donation, big or small, is hugely appreciated.

We're stronger together. 💙👟

I’m taking part in One Walk London on 2026-06-20 for Breakthrough T1D! Please support me with my challenge and give whatever you can spare. Breakthrough T1D's research has led to amazing developments in technology and treatments for type 1 diabetes, so every £ really makes a huge difference.

With love, we invite you to a memorial exhibition celebrating the life and work of a much-loved member of The Hello Club, Ken Card.

For 13 years, Ken was a source of warmth, humour and wisdom to everyone at the hello club who was lucky enough to know him. He had a remarkable way of bringing light into a room, and that same spirit shone through in his art.

This exhibition is an opportunity to remember an extraordinary person, honour his artistic legacy, and celebrate the lasting impact he had on so many lives. All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to The Hello Club.

He is greatly missed, fondly remembered, and will always remain part of The Hello Club's story. ❤️

We had a wonderful morning at Milner House for their networking breakfast!

As always, it was great to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections, and meet so many people dedicated to supporting our local community.

We loved connecting with organisations including The Grange Centre, Surrey Downs Health and Care, Cherry Trees, Tendacare Ashtead and Sight for Surrey, among others. One particular highlight was hearing from the Fire and Rescue Service team, who shared valuable home fire safety advice, and information on how we can further help the individuals that we support.

A big thank you to Milner House for the warm welcome, delicious breakfast, and fantastic networking opportunities.

☀️What a fantastic day we had at the Diamond Riding Centre Showcase!

It was wonderful to learn more about the incredible work the Diamond Riding Centre does, providing therapeutic horse riding and equine activities that help children and adults with disabilities build confidence, independence and wellbeing.

One of the highlights of the day was watching the therapy riding sessions in action. Seeing the connection between the riders and horses, and the positive impact these sessions have, was truly heartwarming.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Diamond Riding Centre for such a warm welcome and for showcasing the amazing difference you make in our community every day. 💙

We recently visited Roseberry Manor Care Home for a truly special morning, listening to an inspiring talk from former RAF pilot, Michael, about his years in service.

It was wonderful to hear his incredible stories and look through the photos he kindly brought along to share with everyone. Michael, who lives with Parkinson’s himself and is a member of Parkinson's UK, is a true inspiration, and it was a privilege to hear him speak so openly about his life and experiences.

A huge thank you to Roseberry Manor for hosting such a lovely event, and to Parkinson’s UK for the invitation. We look forward to continuing to support the wonderful work you do and being part of more meaningful community events in the future. 💙

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you or a loved one is in need of support. Our team would be happy to help.

☀️ What a beautiful Bank Holiday weekend — 31°C and plenty of sunshine!

Days like these are the perfect reminder to get outside, enjoy some fresh air and take time for yourself and your loved ones. Fresh air and a change of scenery can do wonders for mental wellbeing. 💙

Please remember to stay safe in the heat: drink plenty of water, keep cool and look after those around you — especially vulnerable loved ones. 💧

At Right at Home, we love creating moments like this for our clients. Whether it’s a picnic in the sunshine, a trip to a favourite place, or simply getting out and enjoying the day, it’s all about supporting people to continue living life their way. That’s why we ensure all of our Carers are insured to take your loved ones wherever they want to go. 🚗🌳
