💙 Calling all qualified professionals! 💙

The Avelon Road Centre is looking to connect with trained individuals who’d be happy to volunteer their time or skills for one-off sessions or occasional visits with our brilliant Adult Clients with learning disabilities 🧩

We’re particularly interested in professionals who can offer:
💆‍♀️ Hand/foot massage or pamper sessions
🎨 Creative art or music workshops
🧘‍♂️ Gentle exercise like yoga or movement therapy
🐾 Animal visits or sensory activities

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of our clients, we do ask that you have the relevant qualifications, insurance and DBS checks in place.

We sadly don’t have a budget to offer payment, but we can promise a warm welcome, a cuppa ☕, and the joy of making a real difference as well as a social media post on our channels💛

Baking Group had a busy session today baking lots of lovely treats including Lemon Drizzle Cake, Chocolate Cake, Shortbread and Cheese Scones

The Sports Group was very lucky to meet with Andy Carrol who plays for Dagenham and Redbridge Football club. We would like to thank Shea a coach at Leisure United for arranging Andy to take time to come and meet the sports group at the end of the Daggers training session and having his photo taken with them .
