Most people think sports massage is only for when something hurts… but there’s so much more to it. 👀
Saturday at Runfest was a great reminder of what looking after your body — and being part of a community — is all about.
From people arriving and warming up, to runners getting ready to push themselves, local businesses coming together, conversations being had, and me getting hands-on helping people with massage — there was such a good energy throughout the day.
For me, sports massage isn’t just about treating an injury once it happens.
It’s about helping you move better, recover better and understand what your body needs — whether you’re a runner, regularly in the gym, play sport, have a physically demanding job, or you’re simply fed up with feeling tight and restricted.
One of the things I love most about what I do is getting to speak to people face-to-face, hear what’s been bothering them and show them that they don’t necessarily have to just “put up with” those everyday aches and tight spots.
And being able to do that while supporting a local event and meeting other local businesses made Saturday even better. 🙌🏻
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, had some treatment or simply came over to find out a little more about what I do.
If watching this has made you think, “Actually… I could do with a massage,” maybe that’s your sign. 😂
Whether you’re training for your next event, trying to improve your recovery, or your body is simply telling you it needs some attention, feel free to drop me a message.
You don’t have to wait until something hurts to start looking after your body.
