On Sunday 23rd August 2026 we lost one of our own.

Philip Stayte was a dedicated bearer for us for 7 years and we are very grateful for his service.

He retired just over a year ago to chase his dream of travelling as much as he could and he did just that. Always professional and always punctual, Phil played a major part in the team and he will be sadly missed by his family, our team and all who knew him.

Phil was probably best known for being the Sargent in his home town of Evesham, a fair and well respected man.

Phil’s funeral will take place on Friday 11th September, 12:30pm at the Vale Crematorium, Fladbury.

Wife to the late Arthur Grinnall, a much loved mother and grandmother.
