Starting university or further education for the first time this autumn?

You may be eligible for a free MenB vaccination to help protect against meningitis and septicaemia.

You may be eligible if you were born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008, or if you were born on or after 21 July 2001 and are starting university or residential further education for the first time this autumn.

Two doses are needed for protection. Your first dose will be available at participating community pharmacies from late July 2026.

You've just qualified as an independent prescriber upon registration. Now comes the challenge of putting those new responsibilities into practice.

The new NHS England-funded Pharmacist Enhanced Practice Pathway pilot, delivered by CPPE, is designed to support you as you develop your prescribing skills, build confidence in managing increasingly complex care and embed prescribing into everyday practice.
