I’ve just got back from some much-needed time away with my family. It’s so lovely to be back in the studio.

As much as I love what I do, taking a proper break reminded me of something I think we all forget...

Rest isn’t a luxury. It’s part of looking after ourselves.
So many of us wait until we’re exhausted before we slow down. We push through aches, stress, poor sleep and burnout because life is busy, work needs doing and everyone else comes first.

But our bodies are always keeping score.

I’m back in the treatment room this week, feeling refreshed, grateful and ready to help you do the same.

If you’ve been putting yourself at the bottom of the list, maybe this is your reminder that you deserve care too. 🤎

Summer is here, and with holidays and busy diaries just around the corner, now is the perfect time to book a little time for yourself.

✨ We have appointments available throughout July with both Emma and Kristi.

Emma will be away on holiday from 16th–29th July, taking a proper break to recharge with her family. During this time, emails, messages and social media will be a little quieter, but Therapy Pod remains open as usual with Kristi in the studio, including a few extra working days.

For many people, booking a treatment isn’t the difficult part – it’s the not knowing what to expect.
Where do I park? What happens when I arrive? Will there be other people there? What if I feel anxious?
At Therapy Pod, we believe your care starts long before your appointment.
Located just 10–15 minutes from Exeter City Centre and 5 minutes from Crediton, appointments are booked easily online. Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive an email confirmation, followed by a reminder email and a text message before your appointment.
Then, 24 hours before your visit, we’ll send detailed directions to help put your mind at ease.
We allow time between each appointment, so you’ll never feel rushed.
When you arrive, you can park in our designated parking area before taking a gentle walk through the sensory garden to the studio. You’ll be welcomed into our waiting area by either Emma or Kristi, depending on who your treatment is booked with.
One of the things our clients value most is the privacy and exclusivity of the experience. While you’re with us, your treatment is entirely one-to-one. There are no other treatments taking place at the same time, and we do our best to limit crossing over with other clients. For this reason, we kindly ask that you arrive at your appointment time, rather than early, allowing us to maintain the calm and personal atmosphere we strive to create.
Fresh drinking water is always available, and we also have an eco composting toilet for your comfort.
Before your treatment begins, we’ll take the time to ensure you’re comfortable and discuss anything you’d like us to know. You’ll then be given privacy in the treatment room to settle in and get comfortable.
Throughout your treatment, you’re always in control. If you’d like us to adjust the pressure, temperature, blankets or anything else, simply let us know. We usually check in with you too.
This is your time.
Whether you’d prefer a silent appointment, gentle conversation, or simply a listening ear, we’ll meet you exactly where you are.
