- Cold water shock: sudden immersion can cause gasping, panic, and loss of control

- Slips, trips and falls: wet and uneven surfaces around water increase the risk of injury

Time for another fire experiment...🔥

The desktop gas aquarium is a great tool for exploring fire behaviour and is just one of the many practical ways we explore fire phenomena. In this example, we are exploring backdraught and fire gas ignition, and discussing why reaction sizes vary with the ratio of gas to air in compartments.

This demonstration was part of our SFJ Award
Compartment Fire Behaviour Training Instructor (CFBTI) training.

The course teaches you how fire behaves in different environments and scenarios, plus the methods firefighters use to prevent and deal with fire development within a compartment, crucial for anyone pursuing this as a career.
