Care Home Open Week - 15th June to 21st June 2026

Parkland House has an exciting programme of events planned, inspired by the countries taking part in the Football World Cup. Throughout the week, residents and visitors will enjoy themed meals and activities, celebrating cultures, cuisines and traditions from around the globe.

The fun doesn't stop there! Our packed schedule includes:
✨ A magical Magic Show
🏅 A friendly and fun Sports Day
🧀🍷 A delightful Cheese and Wine Tasting
🎨 Plus plenty of themed games, music, and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

We're also delighted to welcome local schools, whose pupils will be joining us for some of the activities, creating wonderful opportunities for different generations to come together, share experiences and make lasting memories.

Residents and staff at Coppelia House were delighted to welcome singer Zara to their care home for a special live performance. The session was very well received, with all residents attending and fully engaged throughout.

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the music, singing along, clapping and interacting positively with Zara. The performance created a warm and lively atmosphere, bringing smiles and laughter.

Thank you, Zara, for providing such an uplifting afternoon and helping to make the day so special for everyone.

What a wonderful day of celebration as one of Cornerways' cherished residents reached the incredible milestone of 100 years young!

Surrounded by smiles, warm wishes and happy memories, the occasion was made even more special with an absolutely amazing birthday cake.

Bramble Down are getting ready for an action-packed Care Home Open Week, bringing the excitement of the Football World Cup to their home with a fantastic range of fun and inclusive activities for everyone to enjoy!

Our residents will be taking part in:
🥘 Country-themed lunches inspired by nations from around the world
⚽ Football Bingo with plenty of prizes and laughter
🥅 Seated Penalty Shoot-Outs where everyone can join in
🎮 Table Football for some friendly competition and team spirit

It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate different cultures, create new memories, and bring residents, families and our local community together.
