This month I’ve been reflecting on belonging. What it means to find a place in the world that feels steady, safe, and true… not because you’ve worked hard to fit in, but because you’re slowly returning to yourself.
So many of us carry a quiet ache around belonging - a sense of being slightly on the edges of things, slightly different, slightly out of step. Not because we are doing anything wrong, but because of the ways we have learned to stay safe.
In this month’s reflection, I explore belonging as something we grow toward - gently, gradually - through self‑permission, nervous‑system safety, and the small moments where we stop abandoning ourselves.
If belonging has ever felt complicated for you, this piece might offer a gentle way of understanding why, and what it looks like to find your place again.
