I have to be honest—I've found the recent energies incredibly difficult to navigate. Over the past few weeks, I've felt as though deeper layers of my shadow have been rising to the surface, bringing aspects of my unconscious into awareness that can no longer be ignored. It's been uncomfortable at times, but also illuminating.
This process has invited me to take a closer look at how I am showing up in the world: the way I work, the way I present myself to others, the choices I make, and perhaps most importantly, the relationship I have with myself. I've come to realise that my inner sanctuary matters just as much as anything happening externally. How I see myself, how I speak to myself, and how much compassion I extend towards myself are all deeply important.
One of the biggest lessons for me has been around self-love. For generations, we've been taught to "love thy neighbour," yet the full teaching is to love thy neighbour as thyself. Somewhere along the way, many of us forgot that second part. We learned how to care for others while neglecting ourselves. Yet genuine love for others can only deepen when it is rooted in genuine love for ourselves.
At the same time, many people are sensing that we are living through a period of profound transformation. With heightened solar activity, powerful solar flares, increased sunspot activity, and ongoing shifts within the Earth's energetic field, there is a feeling that both individually and collectively we are being called into deeper healing, clearing, and awakening.
Whether you view these changes through a spiritual lens or simply as a time of personal growth, many are experiencing vivid dreams, heightened intuition, emotional releases, old wounds resurfacing, and a stronger connection between the conscious and unconscious mind. It can feel as though old patterns, timelines, beliefs, and energetic imprints are being brought into the light so they can finally be released.
Spiritually, some describe this as a transition from a 3D consciousness rooted in fear, separation, and survival into a 5D consciousness rooted in love, unity, compassion, and greater awareness. Most of us naturally move back and forth between these states. There is no perfection required. We are learning.
What many people are noticing, however, is that when fear arises now, it can feel amplified. The fears we once pushed aside seem louder, clearer, and more demanding of our attention. Perhaps this isn't a sign that we're moving backwards. Perhaps it's a sign that these fears are asking to be healed.
This is why choosing our frequency has become so important. If we can spend even a few moments each day consciously choosing love over fear, it can create a profound shift in our experience. Not by denying fear or bypassing difficult emotions, but by meeting them with awareness, compassion, and an open heart.
During this time, I believe we are being called back to ourselves. To rest when we need rest. To spend time in nature. To breathe consciously. To regulate our nervous systems. To align with the natural rhythms of morning and evening sunlight. To drink more water, connect with water, and allow it to soothe and rebalance us. To become more aware of the frequencies we are consuming and the energies we are choosing to embody.
Most importantly, we are being invited to strengthen both our inner and outer sanctuaries. Our bodies are sacred temples. Our hearts are sacred compasses. Our homes and personal spaces can become places of peace, healing, and renewal. The more we nurture these spaces, the more supported we feel as change continues to unfold.
Whatever this period means for you, trust your own experience. Trust the wisdom of your body. Trust the guidance of your heart. And remember that every layer you heal within yourself contributes to the healing of the collective.
The invitation feels simple: return to love, return to yourself, and allow the transformation to unfold one day at a time.
