Spinal Health Workshop - 'Getting to Know Your Spine'

Join us in person and get to know your spine a little better with Dr Silas Keeling.

Each month, Elemental Chiropractic will be hosting a Spinal Health Workshop with a different focus to help you learn more about your health, movement, posture, and well-being.

It will be a 'laid-back' session where you can learn the basics of keeping your spine healthy, understand how your spine works, and pick up easy ' at-home' tips to help you feel great every day.

Our very first workshop will take place on:
📅 Wednesday 10th June
🕕 6:00 PM- 6:45 PM

If you'd like to join us, please 'reserve a spot' on this booking page. Alternatively, if you're in the clinic, you can put your name on the sign-up sheet. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/spinal-health-workshop-getting-to-know-your-spine-tickets-1990079736062

Iron Man Thun- 2 months to go!

Training has shifted from “this seems like a good idea” to “this is now part of life.”
I am nicely in the groove and at least all of my sessions are in the daylight now, even if they are occasionally still in the frost.

For me, spring is where consistency really starts to matter — not necessarily hitting big gains in each session, but small repeatable ones. Missing one session doesn’t matter all that much. Repeating that pattern is where problems creep in.

It’s a useful parallel to rehab and long-term health:
What you do very occasionally has very little impact (negative or positive) — what you do regularly is the key to making lasting changes. Fitness is starting to creep up, feeling good.

Click the link below to find out more about my chosen charity, 'Addicts to Athletes' and if you're able to offer any sort of donation, it would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

'My Spring Supplement Support' 👍 An insight into the supplements our own chiropractor takes...

Nothing complicated — just a return to the fundamentals that tend to drift over winter:

Magnesium — helps with muscle relaxation and sleep quality. I use this more in the spring when the lighter mornings make it harder to stay asleep once the sun's up. If not, my brain just wants to get up and go!

Omega-3 — Great for joint and heart health, as well as helping with inflammation and offsetting too many omega-6s (in processed foods etc.) I generally take this when I haven't eaten oily fish in the last 2 days.

Creatine — Not just for the gym; supports energy and cognition, especially when sleep-deprived or stressed. Check out Rhonda Patrick's work online if interested in the new research and science on Creatine, especially for women and vegans.

Protein intake — Often the missing piece when people increase activity or have physical lifestyles. Not everyone needs to calorie or macro count, but having a rough idea of your protein needs and approximate daily consumption isn't a bad idea and getting it right can make the difference between achy sore muscles and low energy and feeling great.

No magic hacks — just things that consistently work when done well.

Suffering with migraines or headaches?

If this has become your “normal”, it might be time to explore a different approach.

Chiropractic care looks at how your spine, nervous system, and muscles are working together — because tension, restriction, and poor movement (especially through the neck) can all play a part.

Through a gentle but thorough assessment and precise adjustments, we aim to reduce irritation, improve movement, and support your body’s ability to regulate itself.

For some people, that means fewer headaches. For others, less intensity, better recovery, or simply feeling more in control again.
